The Lanier Technical College Medical Technology & Economic Development Center is a 3 story 52,000 sq. ft. building facility that serves scholars from 8 county regions. On this construction project, Shumate installed equipment, duct work, piping, insulation and controls to condition the learning environment. Equipment installed included 1 chiller, 2 boilers, 2 air handling units, 55 variable air volume units with hot water coils, 1 power induction unit, 6 pumps, 1 chilled water storage tank, 6 variable frequency drives, 2 roof fans, 4 wall prop fans, 2 inline fans, 1 utility set fan, 1 fume hood, 4 electric heaters and 1 louver. Direct digital controls were installed by Control Concepts, Inc.
