The Georgia State Academic Facility is a low-rise building built on the schools Alpharetta campus . The building consists of 53,500 square feet made up of classrooms, instructional labs with offices, library space and additional support areas. Shumate Mechanical installed the mechanical system per engineer plans and specifications. Equipment installed includes 5 Trane rooftop units, 5 Mitsubishi fan coil units, 1 CanFab energy recovery unit, 1 Trane heat pump unit, 35 Nailor power induction units and 1 electric unit heater. DDC controls were installed by Johnson Controls.
