Shumate works with general contractors, owners and property managers on buildings with different heat loads to design, install and replace systems to create comfortable working environments. Shumate works on plan-spec office buildings to install HVAC systems for base shell buildings as well as working on design-build tenant projects to provide customers HVAC solutions for the spaces their companies occupy in a building. On retrofit office projects, Shumate will replace single or multiple pieces of malfunctioning equipment, damaged duct and piping to resolve any heating and cooling issues and deliver a comfortable and productive workspace. 

Shumate may be involved in the evolution of a HVAC office project over the span over multiple years. An example of this is the Townpark Ravine III project in Kennesaw, GA, in which Shumate installed the HVAC system in 2005 for the original base building that included cooling towers, rooftop units, variable air volume units and an automation system. In the following years we have installed HVAC systems for various tenants that moved in to occupy the vacant spaces, with some of the systems designed by our in-house engineering department.
