At the Locust Grove Middle and High Schools, Shumate Mechanical installed and commissioned equipment per spec to ensure that classrooms, administrative offices, cafererias, sporting facilities and common areas temperature settings were comfortable to all. Equipment installed included 2 PVI Industries boilers 2 Riverside Hydro boilers, 2 Evapco cooling towers, 15 Munters dehumidifiers, 54 heaters, 7 energy recovery units, 106 Cook exhaust fans, an Alfa Laval Heat exchanger, 16 Bell & Gossett pumps, 5 Trane roof top units, 2 ABB variable frequency drives and 245 water source heat pumps.
