The Georgia Building Authority (GBA 170A) project was a 420 feet tunnel in the basement of a vacant building, that accommodated underground utilities. The Shumate Piping & Insulation teams run chilled & hot water process piping that services 4-7 buildings. For the safety of the crew, a ventilation plan was worked out and a safety monitor kept vigilant on air conditions. The crew worked to address challenges that included shifting to deliver a successful product at the end of the project.
