The HVAC system was designed by the Shumate Engineering team and equipment installed included 17 Aaon energy recovery units, 58 Carrier heat pumps, 57 Carrier fan coil units, a Carrier package unit, an Armstrong steam humidifier unit, 51 exhaust fans, 28 TPI paddle fans and 15 TPI electric heaters.

The controls system on this project comprises of multilevel automation platforms consisting of direct integrations to factory installed controls within equipment, with all integrated to a central control location. To meet the requirements for LEED quality air control, multiple sensors that included formaldehyde, carbon dioxide, temperature and humidity sensors, were installed to measure/monitor air quality. For these and other green efforts, this project attained Gold LEED certification."
