Central Transfer Station is a 2 story 120,880 sq. ft. trash transfer and administration facility. Shumate Mechanical installed the mechanical system per plan and specification. Equipment installed includes a Lennox rooftop unit, 4 split systems, Venmar energy recovery unit, 31 MetalAire variable air volume units, 2 variable frequency drives, 1 Bryan boiler, 3 Marathon pumps, McQuay unit heater, 2 McQuay package terminal a/c units and 3 louvers with actuator and control dampers. Additionally, an odor control system that mists water and chemical in the building was installed. Direct digital controls were installed by Johnson Controls.
