The project consists of a new 50,000 square foot, two-story, Public Safety Headquarters Facility for the City of Cartersville. The facility includes the Fire Department Headquarters and Police Headquarters as well as a fully functioning 24/7 Fire Department No. 1 and Police Precinct. Shumate Mechanical has been hired to install the HVAC system for this new facility. Installation included 1 cooling tower, 1 chiller, 1 energy recovery unit, 62 chilled water fan coil units, 1 Humidity control unit, 1 ductless split system, 2 boilers, 3 pumps, 3 exhaust fans, 3 electric unit heaters, 4 gas unit heaters, 1 Vehicle exhaust system with rails and fan.
