The RBC Centura headquarters is a new 33 story 757,000-sq-ft mixed use building in downtown Raleigh NC. The building accommodates condominiums, office space, parking, a working bank and retail space. To assure adequate conditioning and ventilation for the different spaces, Shumate Mechanical run & insulated ductwork, and installed equipment that included 15 Trane self containment units, 2 Evapco cooling towers, 4 Taco pumps, 14 split systems, 103 TPI heaters, 189 Metalaire power induction units, 223 Metalaire variable air volume units, 5 Yaskawa variable frequency drives and fans. The DDC controls that provides building engineers a means to operate equipment in the office & common areas was provided by ALC.
